Many families we serve cannot access regular doctors or health education, and simple issues can turn into serious medical problems. Our Health Awareness initiative organises camps and workshops in slums and rural areas, bringing doctors, nurses and trained volunteers directly to the people. We talk about topics like clean drinking water, sanitation, women’s health, child vaccination, nutrition, lifestyle diseases and mental well‑being. Wherever possible, we combine awareness with basic screenings, referrals and distribution of essential items. By spreading correct information in simple language, we empower communities to take charge of their own health and reduce avoidable suffering.

Good health is not only about hospitals and medicines; it also depends on the everyday choices people make. Many families we serve have limited access to correct information, which leads to preventable illness and high medical expenses. Our Health Awareness program works to change this by:

• Organising regular health camps in slums, villages and low-income neighbourhoods
• Inviting doctors, nurses and health professionals to conduct basic check-ups and counselling
• Educating families on topics such as safe drinking water, personal hygiene and sanitation practices
• Spreading awareness about child immunisation, maternal health and nutrition for pregnant women and new mothers
• Sharing practical tips on managing lifestyle diseases like diabetes, blood pressure and obesity with low-cost changes
• Addressing sensitive issues—mental health, addiction, domestic violence—with care and confidentiality
• Distributing simple health materials (leaflets, posters, WhatsApp messages) in local languages for easy understanding
• Referring serious cases to nearby hospitals or partner organisations for further treatment and support
