Education is the strongest tool we have to break the cycle of poverty, yet many children in our communities are first‑generation learners who face financial, social and academic barriers. Through our Literacy: A Priority initiative, we run free tuition classes, bridge courses and learning support for children who are at risk of dropping out or who have never been enrolled in school. We provide books, stationery and, where possible, support with fees and uniforms so that money is not the reason a child stays at home. Our mentors work closely with parents to build trust and emphasise the long‑term value of education, especially for girls. • Running free evening tuition classes for children who are weak in studies or cannot afford private coaching
• Providing bridge courses for out-of-school children so they can rejoin formal schooling at the right level
• Supplying essential learning materials—books, notebooks, stationery and sometimes uniforms or school bags
• Offering extra academic support in key subjects like reading, writing, mathematics and basic English
• Conducting reading clubs, storytelling sessions and creative activities to make learning enjoyable and build confidence
• Guiding parents on the long-term benefits of education and encouraging them to keep both boys and girls in school
• Identifying bright but financially challenged students and connecting them with scholarship or sponsorship opportunities
• Mentoring older students on career choices, vocational skills and how to prepare for higher studies or jobs
